~Our Holiday Video~

I probably won't be posting for a week or so, so I want to wish you all a very Happy Holiday season. I will be busy helping my Daughter learn songs for the choir she will be in on Christmas Eve at SRF, she is going to be the angel, my Son wants to be a DJ, so we will be visiting our good friends who happen to be professional DJ's and I am going to be taking pottery classes as well as dealing with quite a bit of other things!

So here is a fun, little video I wanted to share.

~New Items I've Been Working on in My Studio~

I just designed my French Stones last week and have been getting such great responses to them and I love working with clay so much that it made me think, what other pieces I could design and add to my French Home Accessory Collection.
I decided to make these sweet dishes, inscribed with my French Designs from my Pillow Collection...

This is my first attempt, they will improve I promise! When they are finished they will be about 5" in diameter and will be a crisp, elegant and creamy white. A pretty display piece for your jewelry or a great gift to give!

Some more new clay items with three of my Designs. They are still "unfinished" and will also be white when they are done.

I have added a hole and placed a pretty ribbon through. They make a unique "gift tag" to add to any present and would also look pretty as an ornament.

Some paper Gift Tags with three of my other Designs...

I found these crates, which were unfinished when I purchased them and I loved the size of them. I was thinking of all the things I could store in them. I gave them a wash of a few different colors to give them an aged look and then stamped my Designs on the front of them.

Even filling them with simple greenery makes them look pretty.

I have also been making some new Jewelry. I picked pieces that would make a statement when worn.

I love having a simple chain and a bold piece in the center.

This one is my favorite!

All of my items will be available in my Etsy shop soon. If you would like to purchase any of them sooner you can e-mail me...

~My NEW French Stones~

You can click on each picture to ENLARGE it and see the details...

I have been very inspired lately by the old French Soaps that have been made in the South of France since the middle ages and continue to be made there with the same age old process.

Not wanting to "make" soap itself, I thought of how I could make something similar to what I loved and still have the look of old, French soaps, so these Stones are what I created...

Besides some French inspired designs that I am using, I am so excited that they are also available in my own Designs which are part of my Garden Adornments Collection of Home Accessories. These are some of the same designs used in my Pillow Collection and therefore make a beautiful accent to my other items...

They are great to use as paperweights or to fill in a pretty bowl or platter and display as decorative accessories. They make GREAT GIFTS as well!!!

I have displayed them in many different ways to show how much presence they can add to a room.

Each piece is made out of Porcelain clay. I then imprint each design in to the piece.

I individually cut by each piece by hand and therefore no two pieces will ever be identical.

I have designed them to look rugged, yet elegant which adds to the charm and personality of each piece!

They are available exclusively though my Etsy shop...

~Shopping at The Hidden Chateau~

So yesterday I went to the gorgeous Hidden Chateau. Carol and I spent time together and I had a great time visiting with her.

My newest love and inspiration lately has been French Soaps. I can't wait to show you what I have been WORKING ON!

I love the doors!

Silver is so elegant and one of my favorite things to collect! These are all in Anne's booth, she has some gorgeous items...

I have also been loving silhouettes!

So pretty!

This cabinet is so whimsical and a beautiful and creative way to re-use vintage shutters.

I also want to start to collect vintage clocks, French ones of course!

This old farm table is rustic, yet elegant.
