My Husband and I have been designing our Pillow Collection for about the last month or so. Each design is an original. We have used antique borders from the late 1800's to early 1900's and combined them with French Text and Designs.

We have our own silk screen machine and I love taking our design concepts and seeing them come to life through the silk screen process. What I love most about silk screening the designs on is that it gives our pillows a completely soft to the touch feeling. Our pillows are made right here in the USA and have a zipper at the back bottom. The burlap pillows are completely lined so that you can not see the insert through the burlap. Our pillows are very high quality and that is really important to us. We only want to bring our customers a product that is well made and that we, ourselves would have in our own home (which we do, they are on our beds, settees and sofas).

We started with our ivory cotton and ruffled trim pillows and more recently started our line of burlap and ruffled trim pillows.
My friend, Jennifer over at http://www.theoldpaintedcottage.com/ was the mastermind behind the burlap/ruffled trim concept. She had a vision and she was sure right about it.
Together these two lines have been doing quite well. We have been lucky enough to have started selling wholesale as well as retail and have been featured on some wonderful blogs.
We will be working on some new designs in the next month or so...
