When I first saw this picture, it made me think of being in the garden picking fresh roses and than coming in and sitting down on this gorgeous antique chair and enjoying the view of the courtyard.
(left) Stately iron pillars with urns placed on top, create a focal point in to this grand entrance. By adding the beautiful roses and greenery, it softens the heaviness of the pieces. (right) This collection of mercury glass is so elegant and shows how easy it is to display your favorite items and create a beautiful vignette.
This home is absolutely amazing. If you look at all of the details, you can really appreciate the craftsmanship that went in to building these old, historic homes.
(left) A pretty collection of silver adds the perfect touch to this vanity. (right) I love the aged look of this fountain and the fact that it is somewhat hidden by all of the landscaping surrounding it.
The French doors in this beautiful foyer invite you to wander outside and view the gardens.
(left) This is one of my favorite outdoor yards I have ever seen. The hedges and topiaries add formality, but still make this garden inviting. The stately home in the background just adds to the grandeur. (right) The way that this homeowner brought in outdoor architectural elements and made them feel a part of the indoor space, is incredible. I love the look of aged, salvaged pieces. They add so much interest!
This garden cottage is the ideal greenhouse. It’s fairytale charm adds the perfect touch to this beautiful and lush backyard.
This charming arbor with it’s pretty arched shape and picket fence style gates, is so lovely. The gorgeous roses surrounding it adds to the charm and makes you wonder what beauty awaits you on the other side…
