~My Birthday~

~Today is my 36th Birthday~

My Husband has to work so I am just going to hang out with my kids. I have been doing a lot lately, so today will just be a relaxing day. My kids are excited to help me bake a cake and go swimming.

~Some of the New things going on with my Business~

As of September 1, I have officially closed my online Home & Garden Boutique. After two wonderful years, I have decided to focus on my Pillow Collection, which is doing better than I could have hoped for...


My Crown Pillow was featured in Romantic Homes Magazine's Annual Bedrooms and Baths issue.

~There are new business ventures that I am working on, some of which include friends of mine (that are also in the Home and Garden/Cottage Antiques Business) collaborating on writing a Cottage Style Book filled with romantic antiques, product placement, a how to section: featuring the process of re-painting antiques, adding applique's and how to restore antique furniture as well as including 100's of inspiring photographs.

~I am still speaking with Ballard Designs about having my Pillow Collection in their Fall 2010 catalog.

~I am also NOW offering Furniture Upholstery to customers who are local and are interested in having my Burlap Pillow Designs covering their Chairs, Stools or Accent Pieces. After I posted "My Renovated Studio and things I Love to Create" I received so many e-mails from people asking if I could re-upholster their furniture items like I had done to the two Chairs that I had re-covered in my Studio with my Burlap Crown Design. For Upholstery Estimates or any questions that you may have, feel free to e-mail me.



I am a Contributor to Woman's World Magazine which is a great website to visit for information on many topics. They have Woman Entrepreneurs from many fields contribute to their Blog, so it really offers something for everyone.

This one is so sweet...

I just took this one yesterday. When my kids asked me what I wanted for my Birthday, I said "a nice picture of the two of you". I love how they are holding hands and my son even has a smile on his face (at 15, that's a big deal, trust me!)
